December 3, 2023 - Plain, WI - The elves kicked off an annual tradition for Farmer Angel Network. Board members Vicky Meinholz, Lynae Schott, and others have been busy gathering items and assembling 50 goodie bags that will be given to local farmers and farm workers.
Farmer Angel Network wants to bring some cheer to those that may need to know others are thinking of them while going through stressful times. The group gathered items from local businesses who helped make this possible including Cedar Grove Cheese, Kwik Trip, Straka Meats, Tower Rock Farmstead Bakery, Wisconsin Farm Center, and Wisconsin Farmer Wellness Center. So as you can guess, the bags will be brimming with meats, cheeses, cookies, gas cards, stress reduction toys and of course materials explaining resources available to help farmers.
The goodie bags will be given out by those working directly with farmers including Lime Ridge Ag Supply, Lodi Veterinary Care, Reedsburg Farmers Coop, River Valley Veterinary Clinic, Sunrise Veterinary Services, and United Cooperative.
