Thanks to Cargill and everyone who voted for Farmer Angel Network at World Dairy Expo, FAN received a $5,000 donation! We're excited to share this generous gift among our three FAN chapters to help support farmers and farm families across Wisconsin.

October 12, 2026 — MADISON, Wis. — Cargill invited World Dairy Expo attendees to show support by voting with ping-pong balls for original organizations making a meaningful difference across the dairy industry. More than 2,000 votes were cast in the Cargill booth during the show, and Farmer Angel Network was selected as the recipient of a $5,000 donation, with runners-up National 4-H Dairy Conference and Fill A Glass With Hope each receiving a $1,000 donation.
Farmer Angel Network is a Wisconsin-based organization that supports the mental health, resilience, and well-being of farmers by reducing the stigma around mental health in rural communities.
“Farmer Angel Network is grateful for the nomination as one of the charities and overwhelmed with the support people showed us at World Dairy Expo," said Dorothy Harms, Founder and Chair, Farmer Angel Network. "This generous gift will help Farmer Angel Network continue to show up for farmers, especially during the hectic harvest season."
Earlier this year, Cargill invited its employees to nominate dairy-focused charities across the United States. The three finalists were selected and featured in Cargill's booth at World Dairy Expo, where attendees voted for the organization they felt was creating the greatest impact.
