Sauk City, WI - Mr. Dick McFarlane invited Farmer Angel Network (FAN) to McFarlanes' 60th Annual Customer Appreciation Days on March 16, 2023. FAN board members Brenda Statz, Randy Roecker and Christy Wehler were present to talk to customers about challenges faced by the farming community and resources available. The FAN display was located next to the appreciation meal and had hundreds of customers come through. It was a very engaging time connecting with community members.
Mr. McFarlane has been a strong supporter of Farmer Angel Network over the years. He has offered suicide prevention training onsite at McFarlanes' Retail Center for staff and the community in partnership with Farmer Angel Network. Mr. McFarlane shared some of the efforts his business is making to make it ok to talk about mental health and bring awareness to resources available.
