Recent Testimonials

“Your team is amazing. After my mom died, my dad wanted to give up farming. FAN came and checked in on him, had a cup of coffee, and talked through how he was REALLY doing. Not just the surface conversation like everyone else. It really made a difference.” This experience highlights not only the healing impact of genuine conversation but also the crucial role that supportive outreach plays in sustaining farm life.

“You saved my husband’s life and our marriage.” This from a farmer's wife who shared her husband's ask for help after seeing an article about FAN. We share our vulnerabilities, experiences and challenges as farmers to let you know you are not alone.

Some battles remain hidden, as expressed by another farmer: “Literally saved my life when I was going through burnout and a nervous breakdown.” Recognizing that mental health challenges affect many farmers. It's important to talking about it. This helps break the stigma around mental health by normalizing discussions and may help someone reach out for help.

The Heart of Our Mission

At the core of our mission is the belief that every farmer deserves a life filled with resilience and health. We actively work to foster an environment where discussing mental health becomes comfortable and customary. The vision is clear: we aim to set an example for rural communities, creating spaces that celebrate agriculture through farmer-to-farmer connections.

The testimonials we share reassure us of our progress. Each interaction, whether over coffee or during community gatherings, helps chip away at the stigma surrounding mental health in farming. Supporting one another is vital, making it an essential component of sustaining the agricultural foundation of our society.

Let us continue nurturing an environment that prioritizes mental health, where every farmer is seen, uplifted, and reminded that together, we possess the strength to thrive. By fostering an agricultural community that cares, we can ensure that all farmers lead resilient and fulfilling lives.
