A Place to Pause, Remember, and Find Hope
Farmer Angel Network is proud to announce the dedication of a bench at the Sauk County Fairgrounds in Baraboo, WI — a place where agricultural community members have gathered for generations.
The bench was custom-made at Sand Ridge Secure Treatment Center (SRSTC) in Mauston, WI, the same craftsmen behind FAN's bench at the Garden of Angels in Portage. SRSTC is considered a national center of excellence in the evaluation and treatment of individuals with a history of sexual violence and mental health needs.
The Sauk County Fairgrounds holds deep meaning for farm families across the region. It's a place of hard work, pride, livestock shows, and community — a gathering point that represents the heart of agricultural life. Placing a bench here is an intentional reminder that even in spaces full of activity and celebration, there is always room to pause, breathe, and reach out for support.
"We wanted farmers to know that when they're here at the fair, in the middle of all of it, FAN is here too."
The bench serves as a quiet but visible symbol of FAN's presence and commitment to the agricultural community — a reminder that help is available, and that no one has to carry the weight of farm life alone.
