Celebrating the Women Who Keep Agriculture Strong: FAN at the Clara Alice Faye Foundation Spring Social
The stars aligned on the evening of April 25th — and FAN was honored to be part of it.
At the Clara Alice Faye Foundation's Spring Social at Lake Wisconsin Country Club in Prairie du Sac, FAN sponsored a table of eight women in agriculture for a special night out together. The timing couldn't have been more fitting: 2026 is the International Year of the Woman Farmer, and this evening was a meaningful way to honor that. For women who spend so much of their time showing up for their farms and families, this was a night for the community to show up for them.
The evening centered on connection, encouragement, and purpose — and the keynote speaker made it even more powerful. Megan Haag, a third-generation farmer, Air Force veteran, and creative entrepreneur from Sauk County, took the stage to share her story. Through her specialty dahlia farm, Sunnyside Dreams Farm, Megan carries forward a legacy of resilience, faith, and hope — a living reminder that the comeback can be stronger than the setback.
Women in agriculture carry a tremendous amount — long seasons, hard decisions, and work that often goes unseen. FAN believes that connection, recognition, and a little time away can be genuinely powerful. Sending a table of women to an evening like this is one small way we try to honor that.
Thank you to the Clara Alice Faye Foundation for creating such a meaningful event, and to every woman who said yes to a night of celebration and community.
