Our Story

Myles was a one-of-kind type of guy. He was always the life of the party at gatherings and knew how to make people laugh. He had a big, contagious smile and outgoing, lovable personality that everyone cherished. Myles grew up working alongside his dad, two uncles, and grandpa on a beef and grain farm outside of Mineral Point, WI. Farming was not just a career for Myles; it was a lifestyle that he thoroughly enjoyed. Myles loved working with the cattle the most. He was most meticulous during calving season. While working on the farm, Myles also graduated from Southwest Technical College with a degree in Agriculture business. When Myles wasn’t busy working on the family farm, he was riding his Harley, boating in the summer with family and friends, and snowmobiling up north with his buddies in the winter. Myles is deeply missed and will forever be remembered by every person who his smile reached.

The Farmer Angel Network of Southwest Wisconsin was started in honor of Myles in the hope that no other family has to experience the same loss. Powered by Myles’s younger sister, McKenna Reichling, and with the support of Myles’s family, their goal is to bring connection and hope to rural southwest Wisconsin and to promote the wellbeing of every farmer.

A Chapter Rooted in Healing and Hope

The Southwest Wisconsin Chapter of FAN exists to provide mental health support, reduce stigma,

and build resilience across the farming communities of Lafayette and Grant Counties.

Through peer-to-peer connection, local outreach, and access to resources,

we help farmers navigate life’s challenges and feel less alone in their journey.

We share our story not to dwell in grief, but to grow a movement of understanding, compassion, and change.

No One Farms Alone.
